With school starting in just a few short weeks, I decided yesterday I was going to have the girls do a super-fun, quick, summery, mathy, breezy, multiplication flash card drill to get ready.

I handed them each a single sheet with questions relating to the three times tables and I asked them to fill it out.

The first line at the top of the sheet: Name.

The second: Date.

In the name slot, Hanna wrote: I don’t care.

For the date she indicated: The day I was being punished.
