Water Boiling Gadget….

Those of you who know me and even those stopping by for the first time might get from the ‘tea and snippets’ portion of these posts that I enjoy the odd cup of tea (and probably a snippet when I’m really feeling ravenous).

As such, my incredibly thoughtful and loving husband found a device for me for Christmas, an apparatus, a gadget if you will that allows me to boil water from the comfort of our home.

You may be thinking, “And all these years I’ve been wasting my time with a kettle?!”

You have.

This hot water dispenser (that is the actual name ‘Hot Water Dispenser’) claims to boil water in just 90 short seconds.

It’s a counter top appliance because let’s face it, we’re always looking for ways to use up that extra counter space that’s just kicking around totally empty.

The 90 seconds part is pure genius. I used to have to wait like 115 seconds for the kettle to boil water for my tea but this thing will do it in a little more than half the time and take up a mere elbow of wasted counter space.

Frequently Asked Questions: 1) Does the Hot Water Dispenser steep the tea faster? No. The steeping part remains a solid 2 minutes. 2) Was the Hot Water Dispenser invented to trick people into thinking their tea would be instant? Yes. 3) Was the Hot Water Dispenser created so people with less patience than a 2 year old at a fabric store could slam their fine china down under a steamy, watery device and grumble, “At least I’ll have hot water in 90 seconds”? No comment. 4) Was the Hot Water Dispenser invented as part of a sequel to the song made famous by Ariel, The Little Mermaid, “A Girl Who Has Everything.” We’re fairly certain.

Merry Christmas!
