From Crib To Freedom….

Day 1—Chloe collected all of the diaper creams on her change table, lined them up on her new “big girl” bed and plotted her attack on the new sheets.

Day 2—I found her hovering over a sleeping Ellie (her six year old roommate oblivious to that feeling you get when someone is clearly staring at you and invading your personal space). As Ellie began to snore, Chloe would slap the bed violently shouting, “Stop making that noise!” over and over again.

Day 3—I whispered so as not to wake the heaviest sleeper alive right next to her, “Time to close your eyes Chloe.” She whispered back, “I can’t close my eyes. I need them (now yelling) TO SEE!!!!”

Day 4—I found a pair of my “good” shoes in her bed and a two year old amongst all of the toys we own

The UNO cards are in lockdown and a back-up deck remains in an undisclosed, off-site location.

It only gets better. Right?
