This pool has already paid for itself.
The kids spent every waking moment in the pool yesterday and even a few moments sound asleep.
I am realizing our summer is going to come together swimmingly but will require the following in stock items to be readily available at all times.
- A stack of at least 300 bathing suits as 299 of them will be wet/damp/cold/lost/turtle nests.
- Towels, laundry detergent, towels, laundry detergent….
- Clothes pegs to hang the clean towels and to scrape the detergent granules from beneath my fingernails
- Hamburgers for the barbecue and yogurt tubes for the masses.
- Noodles both for floating and nibbling.
- Hair conditioner.
- Sunscreen.
Mom, I know sunscreen should have been number one but I love to know you cringed as you read numbers 1 thru 6 before I got there.
8. The ability to understand how outdoor speakers work and then to be able to implement said knowledge in a respectable and neighbourly way. Read: I’m sorry we left them on all weekend and everyone woke up to Phineas & Ferb on Sunday morning while engineering a sling-shot to send small pebbles in the direction of our satellite dish.
