Home Gym….

Greg is determined to turn our kid’s play room into a gym and he’s had no resistance from me.
Given the play room has been just one of at least twenty mini-play areas set up with an unused craft/art table, doll house and dozens of buckets of crayons, plush toys and stickers, I didn’t see the harm in throwing in a few free weights.
While I haven’t complained about having the treadmill in the basement rec room, it has sometimes caused a few unnecessary pulled muscles to have it angled so far away from the only television in the room, forcing you to crank your head on a 45 degree angle and mount the handles on your tip-toes if you want to have a clue what Dr. Oz is saving you from that day.  Maybe that turning your neck while walking on a treadmill will kill you.
Greg made the first and most important of all home gym decisions quickly. Where to mount the t.v. and what size should it be.
He ordered a wall mounting device, the t.v. and hired an installer to spend a half a day in the basement wiring things to his requirements while he assures me, he mapped out his work-out strategy.

He purchased two new pairs of home gym running shoes along with a dozen dry-fit work-out t-shirts, custom ordered socks, weight lifting gloves, dowloaded work-out music, heart rate monitor, engraved water bottle and a head band to absorb the copious amounts of sweat one might assume a daily dose of Dr. Oz from a wall-mounted screen could invite.
I can’t wait to see this room in action.
