The Listing….

I’m still trying to figure this one out.

In a world where we judge each other’s every move. All aspects of our lives, our jobs, our existence is out there for the world to see.

We live in an age of digital media with easy access to high tech equipment.

We are in constant competition with everyone to maintain employment and exceed expectations.

I have to give people the benefit of the doubt and be open to all possible reasons for why or even how the following could have happened.

When I saw this house for sale in Florida, a few things went through my mind.

  1. The listing agent was en route to the hospital to deliver a baby but knew Friday was the best day to get the house posted.
  2. The agent was being held against his/her will by a competitor and told to take pics from the confines of his/her car ensuring the window frame was fully visible when it came time to promote the property.
  3. Was the agent being chased by a tornado?
  4. Rabid dog?
  5. Did the agent allow his/her young child or elderly parent to take the picture, using a digital camera for the first time and saw the value in just letting it be so as not to affect the person’s self esteem? (If so, shame on me for judging)
  6. Did the home owners not know they were selling their house and start chucking eggs when they saw the agent with Drive-By Realty swing by to snap a picture?
  7. Did the agent just hear the news of the Florida sinkhole and worry if they parked for more than 20 seconds in one spot, their car would be swallowed whole?
  8. Dr. McShortarm?
