My three year old noticed something on her personalized water bottle yesterday for the first time ever.
She stared and stared at the colourful letters imprinted on the bottle that seemed to form a familiar pattern while I anxiously waited in the wings.
Say it. Say it. Just say it!
Chloe: Hey! This water bottle says ‘Chloe!’
Woo Hoo!!!!!
Me: Yes it does. Can you tell me the letters you see?
Chloe: It says C….
Me: YES!
Chloe: H…..
Me: YES!!! YES!!!
Chloe: One
Me: Close
Chloe: Zero
Me: Um….
Chloe: And then another number after that.
Rather than correct her, we are going to go with “CH10Number” as the new spelling of Chloe.
These things have a way of catching on.
