I was recently offered an interesting driving proposal.

 
One of my kids was trying to schedule a play date so I called the other parent to arrange a day and time that worked.

 
I explained that we were flexible hosting but would also be happy bringing our daughter to their place. I was leaving it up to them to decide what was best for their schedules.

 
The other parent quickly replied, “If I drive my daughter to your house, that means I will have to drive all the way home, then pick her up again later. Do you see why that doesn’t work for me?”

 
I am still stumped.
