Before school yesterday, Ellie told me she had a busy day. She had three, big things to do.

The first was Earth Day at school. The second was colour day at school and the third was a test about telling time.

When I asked her what the most important event was (expecting her to say the test) she said, “That’s obvious, Mom, saving the earth, hello?”

I laughed.
