Last night on our drive home, Hanna was talking about her future career as a Marine Biologist.
I told her that was a great goal to have as she would be able to continue my life’s work of shooing the sharks further out to sea whenever we decide to visit the beaches of Florida, Australia or Hawaii.
I suggested she would focus on science courses in high school if that was the route she wanted to go.
“Science? Blech.”
We were so close.
Ellie piped up with her new choice for unpaid employment.
“I want to be a high school swim coach.”
A fabulous, volunteer position Ellie. I think you have to have a teaching degree to be a high school coach so she would have the classroom stuff to fall back on.
Chloe has decided she wants to be a Halloween house decorator.
It’s more of a hobby (that home owners do themselves) than something that will keep her electricity on but “there’s no bad ideas when you’re brain storming.” (Imagination Movers)
I guess Greg and I should consider building that addition in the basement now. It looks like we might have some adult children staying with us for a while.
