Paranoid….

I jump at the slightest movement I’m not expecting.

I hear noises and ask Greg in the middle of the night, “Did you hear that?” and the response is always, “No.” Sometimes it’s “No, you’re crazy.”

I fear new people and am assume the worst in them.

I am afraid of bats and sharks and on a recent vacation spent time watching my family frolic in the waves while I stood firmly on soft, white sand and hoped they would come back with all of their limbs in tact.

On this same trip, there was a bird sanctuary at the zoo but the bats and the FLYING FOX were too cold to come out of their bat house and visit with the people. My heart started beating within the confines of my shirt after hearing the good news.

I am afraid of people, places, things, qualities and ideas.

There it is, in black and white, now so obvious.

I have a phobia of nouns.
