We had a busy weekend and I think it’s fair to say, everyone is sufficiently exhausted.

Three birthday parties, an offsite sleepover, overnight guests and garbage bins filled with Halloween candy wrappers no one is willing to claim as their own.

Hanna attended an Amazing Race type party that sounded, well, amazing.

She was so excited to have run around with friends, searched for clues, figured out riddles and raced to the finish line.

She loved that she and her partner played off of each others strengths and worked together as a well-oiled machine.

When I picked her up, she raved about the challenges and the fun teamwork.

“Mom, it was so great. My partner was the brains and I was the bronze.”

Like I said, we are all tired.
