There has been some concern, okay, outrage over my use of the term “flu” or potential misuse of the word.

Please allow me to start here.

To the Norwalk family, if I have in any way misled the viewing public by assigning credit to the generic flu with complete disregard to your possible role in my illness, my sincerest apologies.

To the rotavarians, words can’t express the pain you might have caused me earlier this week. While foam was pouring from my mouth like a test tube experiment overflowing in a grade eleven chemistry class, I may have mistakenly labelled my illness the flu when you were the guilty party all along.

Finally, to the flu, whoever you are and whatever piece of this puzzle you may or may not have been a part of, you suck.
