One week before: “Hanna, I see in your agenda you have a math test in a week.”
Hanna: Yep, I’ve got it covered Mom.
Five days before: “Have you set aside some time to review your math?
Hanna: No need. It’s easy. I know it.
Three days before: “How’s the studying going?”
Hanna: There’s nothing to study. It’s just a quiz about the stuff we’ve been doing in class.
Two days before: Hanna, what do you feel like for lunch?
Hanna: Quit stressing me out about the test!
The day before: So what’s this test about?
Hanna: I’m not really sure. I’ll probably read through my notes later this morning.
Lunch time: When are you going to look over your math notes?
Hanna: There’s nothing to study. I just need to review a word problem.
Dinner time: So tonight?
After Dinner: You can’t study. There’s nothing to study. One word problem, that’s it.
An Hour Later: Mom, I need your help.
Bath time: I don’t know any of this!
Bed time: I’m totally going to fail! Will you help me?
Morning of the test: Hanna, have you chewed the erasers off of those pencils?
