We made a game day decision to swap Family Movie Night to Family Game Night and there was some resistance from one of the team members.
Hanna was quick to source her new journal, made entirely from elephant dung, that for obvious reasons, I was reluctant to place on her shelf among the books made entirely from non-fecal matter.
She wrote the following short, to-the-point entry reflecting not only on the loss of a movie but the reluctance to play yet another round robin Snakes & Ladders tourney.
Of course I knew she would quickly get over it and wanted to check out Ellie’s entry as I knew she would have something wonderful to say about rolling the dice and shouting, “come on eight” and how that made me laugh each time.
