The kids left the school yard yesterday reflecting on another wonderful year full of learning and personal growth doing cartwheels all the way to the mini-van, chanting, “See you in September, suckas!”

We talked about some of the special things we might want to do over the next eight weeks including; swimming in the backyard, having a picnic, having a sleepover with a friend, roasting marshmallows, eating homemade strawberry/rhubarb pie and watching movies on blow-up mattresses.

That was last night.

I have no idea what we’ll do for the next two months.
